Cookies policy
Last updated: 2026-06-09 — Compliant with Spanish LSSI-CE Art 22 + GDPR EU 2016/679 + UK PECR (if UK users).
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on the user's device. Their use is governed by Art 22 of Spanish Act 34/2002 (LSSI-CE), GDPR, and UK PECR.
2. Cookies used on this site
This site does not use first-party tracking or advertising cookies.
Storage technologies in use:
- Cookieless analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics): anonymous aggregated data, no cookies, no persistent identifiers. No prior consent required under the AEPD 2023 guidance.
- Strictly necessary cookies / storage (if any):
localStoragefor language preference — exempt under Art 22.2 LSSI-CE.
3. Third-party cookies (affiliates)
This site does not load third-party advertising, affiliate or tracking scripts, and sets no third-party cookies. Some pages contain affiliate links (identified as such on the pages that carry them). This site does not set those cookies: when you click an affiliate link and navigate to the destination site (for example Amazon), it is the third party that may set purchase-attribution cookies on its own domain, after the click, under its own cookie policy. Links to official embassy and consulate websites are plain outbound links; any cookies those external sites set once you leave this site are governed by their own policies.
4. Consent management
Because this site only uses cookieless analytics and strictly necessary storage (both exempt from prior consent under Art 22.2 LSSI-CE and the AEPD 2023 guidance), no consent banner is required or shown.
5. Disabling cookies
You can disable cookies in your browser settings (Chrome: chrome://settings/cookies; Firefox: about:preferences#privacy; Safari: Preferences → Privacy; Edge: edge://settings/privacy).
